It's because little is known about Helen Slicher, for whom the luxurious dress with golden embroidery was made, while Marie Antoinette was known as a fashion influencer who popularized floral embroidery on dresses. Thus, it can be said that this floral embroidery was quite avant-garde for its time.

Today, Helen Slicher's dress is preserved in the Rijksmuseum. The dress was made in 1759, presumably in France, and the author is unknown.
